HUMBLE BEGINNINGS 1/4
HAND-SPUN
The journey of Khadi begins with meticulous skill transforming raw cotton into fine fabric. Using traditional tools, our artisans clean and prepare the cotton, and spin slivers into usable thread entirely by hand using the ‘Charka’, a traditional spinning wheel.
This time-honored method preserves the natural integrity of the fiber, ensuring a product that’s both durable and soft. Each step, from seed removal to thread creation, is performed with precision and care, setting the foundation for a fabric that’s both breathable and resilient, much like its history.
NATURES'S PALLETE - 2/4
HAND-DYED
Our hand dyeing process is a celebration of nature’s palette. Using only organic, natural dyes derived from herbs, roots, plants, seeds, flowers, and vegetable peels, we ensure that each piece of Khadi cotton is eco-friendly and gentle on the skin.
The dyeing process, which can take up to 12 hours, is carried out in small batches to maintain the vibrancy and consistency of the colors. This artisanal technique not only highlights the beauty of the fabric but also supports sustainable practices and reduces environmental impact.

HANDWOVEN
Hand-weaving is where the magic of Khadi truly comes to life. Each thread is carefully interlaced on manually operated handlooms, creating a fabric that’s rich in texture and character.
This process allows for a level of detail and uniqueness that machine-made textiles cannot replicate. It is extremely rare to find artisans who still operate the handloom manually, making our Khadi cotton breathable, flexible, and perfectly imperfect, with each piece telling its own story through subtle variations and nuances.
