An Updated Sign
Cities are built in layers.
Long before tennis, padel, and squash found their home here, our building on Skillman Avenue played a small but enduring role in shaping New York itself. It was once the headquarters of Swingline, known for the iconic red stapler sign that stood above the neighborhood and became a familiar landmark in the Queens skyline. This tee pays homage to that sign.
Not as an act of nostalgia, but as an act of continuation.
The original sign celebrated the making of everyday tools that quietly supported work and creation throughout the city. Today, the building has taken on another purpose. It has become a place where people gather, play, move, and form community.
The sign has changed.
The spirit has not.
